Global Glow Candle Recipe

Prepare your candle jars by adding a wick to each jar using a wick sticker. Also prepare your piping bag with a decorating tip. Then, using a double boiler, weigh out and melt 18 oz of Golcen Brands 464 Candle Wax to 185F.

Once melted, add 1.8 oz of the fragrance oil. Stir.

Since you will be whipping this wax, you want to remove it from the heat. Place it is a mixing bowl and allow it to cool for a bit. Set aside for now.

Now, in your pouring pot, add 21 oz of the 464 soy wax. Again, using a double boiler, heat the wax to 185F

Remove the wax from the heat. Add 2 drops of the blue liquid candle dye and 2.1 oz of the fragrance oil. Stir.

Now, the uncolored wax should be ready to whip. You will know it is ready when it has solidified around the edges and has begun to thicken. At this time, use your hand mixer to whip the wax. You are looking for a consistency of thin mashed potatoes.

Now, you will need to move quickly over the next few steps. Pour 3 oz of the blue wax into each of your 6 jars. Pour the remaining wax into 6 cavities of the snowflake mold.

Add your whipped wax to your piping bag. Begin piping the wax directly into the blue wax already in the jars. Pipe it in the same manner you would frost a cupcake. Keep the wick centered as you pipe.

Add a snowflake to each candle and allow them to finish setting up.

Once you candle has set up trim the week to 1/4" and place a warning label on the bottom of each jar.
