Great Soap Base

"Coconut Milk Soap base is great for all kinds of soap bars, liquid soap or in a hand scrub. It doesn't have a strong smell to it and retains essential oil smells really well; so far I have made lavendar, rosemary lemon and mint, and honey-vanilla. It is a lighter soap base than the shea butter and is great for hands or a body soap in the shower. I have found this soap is also great when mixed with seeds like flax seeds or lavendar as it provides a smooth surface on one side and a more coarse side for scrubbing. Great buy for a more simple base soap."

Can i add 1-2 tbsp coconut oil to this base to make it more moisturizing ?: THe soap bases can take a small amount of additives. Adding oils can soften the soap base and lessen the lather. Testing is always recommended.
Can you use this as a shampoo bar?: No, this soap has not been formulated to be a shampoo bar. for a shampoo bar you would use Premium Shave & Shampoo MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
Is this safe to use for dish soap bars?: We would not recommend using this base as a dish soap. You can always test it, but I worry that it may be too gentle and/or leave a film.
I am looking for a melt and pour base for a solid brush cleanser. Do you think this would be a good option? Maybe adding kaolin clay to help harden it?: The detergent free bases are slightly softer thank our other bases. You can use stearic acid to make a harder soap. The usage for this is 1 Tbsp. per pound of soap.
Would I be able to melt Shea butter and add it to the melt and pour, to make it more moisturizing?: We do not recommend adding butters to MP soap because it will cut down on the lather the soap creates. We do offer soap bases with different butters added.
